Waiver Eligibility
Waiver-eligibility policy for the Al-Salihat:
- Eligibility: The waiver policy is applicable to all authors who are submitting papers to the Al-Salihat.
- Waiver request: Authors who need to request a waiver of the article processing charge (APC) must submit a waiver application form along with their paper submission. The waiver application form can be found on the Al-Salihat website.
- Waiver criteria: The following criteria will be used to assess waiver applications:
- The author's country of residence
- The author's affiliation
- The author's funding status
- The author's contribution to the paper
- Decision: Waiver decisions will be made by the Al-Salihat editorial board on a case-by-case basis.
- Appeals: Authors who are denied a waiver may appeal the decision by submitting a letter to the editorial board.
Here are some additional details about the waiver policy:
- Waiver applications must be submitted within 30 days of the paper submission deadline.
- The editorial board will make a decision on waiver applications within 30 days of the submission deadline.
- Authors who are granted a waiver will not be required to pay the APC.
- Authors who are denied a waiver may appeal the decision by submitting a letter to the editorial board within 15 days of the decision notification.
