About the Journal

Al-Salihat (Journal of Women, Society, and Religion) is an interdisciplinary, biannual, and trilingual (Urdu, English, and Arabic) research journal that seeks to establish a scholarly relationship between academic and intellectual communities of the world in the realm of women’s studies and its interlinked disciplines like the humanities and social sciences. Its mission is to deliver a platform to academic researchers to share their efforts and circulate their results to promote scholarly research in the fields of gender studies, society, and religion.
Al-Salihat (Journal of Women, Society, and Religion) not only encourages authors to be creative but also attempts to motivate and guide readers to be inquisitive, creative, and critical in their approaches. The journal welcomes all the research papers having sturdy potential to answer the questions and find solutions to different issues arising in the modern era in the light of gender studies, society, and religion.

This journal publishes pathbreaking articles, review essays, comparative perspectives, and retrospectives of interdisciplinary interest addressing gender, race, culture, class, nation, and sexuality. Special issue and section topics cover a broad range of feminist scholarship, society, and religion.
