Abstract

Da'wah and Tarbiyah constitute fundamental dimensions of Islamic education,
intellectual development, and moral reform. In the contemporary era, Islamic
institutions are required to adopt effective methodologies that address emerging
educational and social challenges while preserving the essential teachings and
values of Islam. Among such institutions, Dawah Academy of the International
Islamic University Islamabad has emerged as a prominent center for Islamic
outreach, education, and training. This study examines the Da'wah and training
methodology of Dawah Academy, focusing on its institutional objectives,
educational strategies, training programs, and outreach activities. Employing a
qualitative and analytical approach, the study explores the theoretical foundations
and practical dimensions of the Academy's methodology through an analysis of its
publications, training manuals, and institutional initiatives. The study also
highlights the Academy's contribution to the promotion of religious awareness,
character development, and community-oriented Islamic education. The findings
indicate that Dawah Academy has developed a balanced and systematic model that
integrates Islamic teachings with contemporary educational practices. Its
methodology emphasizes moderation, inclusivity, practical engagement, and
capacity building, enabling the institution to address the religious, intellectual, and
social needs of diverse segments of society. The study concludes that Dawah
Academy represents a significant model of institutionalized Da'wah and Tarbiyah
in Pakistan and offers valuable insights for contemporary Islamic educational and
training institutions.
