Objections of Christianity on the Quranic concept of Allah’s Mercy

Abstract

Christianity has brought this denial that perception of God mentioned in Quran is cruel. According to this perception, God feels obliged to reveal curse upon his creatures, whereas, in other religions especially in Christianity, the love of God for human beings is fatherly love. According to the Quranic point of view, the love of God for his creatures especially for human beings is not limited to the love of father and son, but the reality is that He is very merciful and loves human beings. He, along with his pious men, never disappoints the hopeless and sinful persons as well. He calls the people in a loving tone that O, my people, leave the path of destruction and come towards blessings and success.
