Abstract

Islam acknowledges the many responsibilities that women play in society and ensures that they are treated with respect and dedication in line with their position. Islam values women as excellent mothers, devout daughters, devoted wives, and equal sisters. This research will examine how women contribute to the advancement of society from an Islamic and contemporary viewpoint followed by the qur’anic verses and sayings of Prophet Muhammad. The study looks at a number of aspects of women's lives in Islamic society, such as their social and religious rights, educational and employment opportunities. The study give emphasis to how crucial it is to comprehend the variety of experiences that Muslim women have in various contexts. The paper's premise is a study of literature reviewed, followed by some arguments about the modern world and the reasons why it is being rejected. The paper also deliberated the eminent women of Islam who played important role in the development of a society and where Muslim women stand in a modern world.
